Announcementpicking Garage Doors is a referral service. We connect homeowners who need garage door repair, replacement or a new opener with independent providers. These are not jobs on a payroll. This page is for contractors who run their own business and want more homeowner requests.

What We Look For

We want providers who treat a customer's garage like their own. That means:

• A working business that serves Lloyd Harbor or nearby towns
• Skill with springs, cables, tracks, openers and full door installs
• Proper licensing and insurance where local rules require them
• A habit of answering the phone and returning messages

What We Expect

Homeowners are often stressed when they reach out. Providers in our network should stay calm and speak plainly. Give a written quote before the work begins. Explain what is broken and why. Do not push extra work that is not needed.

Be honest about timing. Do not promise what your schedule cannot deliver. Be clear about warranty terms, in writing.

You set your own prices, hours and methods. You are responsible for your work, your crew and your compliance with local rules.

Seasonal Work

Garage door demand moves with the weather. Cold snaps, ice, snowmelt and storms can bring a rush of requests. Tell us about your usual service area and the times you are busy so referrals fit your capacity.
